What a glorious day. There is nothing like seeing the world through a child's eyes. I helped a friend who teaches an art class today. She was having them "blow" out the insides of an egg until hollow and then decorate the eggs for Easter. I tell ya.....some of those eggs were hard to blow all the insides out. Seeing the kids get so excited by this project was such a charming adventure. Who knew something this simple could delight a young mind. I think they would have blown these eggs until they fell asleep. They had as much fun doing this as they did the decorating. The eggs turned out beautifully and the kids had lots to take home and share their day of creativity. Wouldn't it be wondrous if we all could get lost in a few hours of reverie like these kids did. Not thinking of things that needed to be done, or things that weren't getting done....but just plain fun doing something you had never done before and creating your own little piece of artwork. If we could all only lose ourselves over like this for just a few minutes a day; think how much fun each day would become.

Here in Orlando, we will soon be beseiged by every reporter known to man for the CASEY ANTHONY child murder case. It will soon become a circus with food vendors, t-shirt and souvenir vendors, and media from all over. The trial starts May 9 and already the city has so many requests for vendor licenses, seats in the courtroom, etc. I am no fan of this woman who is on trial for the murder of her child; but, I fail to see the necessity of the carnival atmosphere that will soon be on the main drag of our city. Locals are already tired of the constant national media circus and this will culminate in a fiasco that could actually jeopardize a fair trial for this woman. Love her, or hate her.........she deserves her day in court in front of a jury of her peers, not a three ring circus full of distracting and questionable information posing as the truth. The child has been forgotten or exploited here, and a beautiful 3 year old who held such promise is gone.
